A 26-year-old woman was hit by a taxi while jaywalking near Dhoby Ghaut MRT station at about 3:15am on Nov. 13.
Singapore Police Force (SPF) and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told
Mothership that she was conveyed conscious to the Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
What happened
The video, posted on
Complaint Singapore's Facebook page, shows the car driving along Bras Basah Road when a woman walked across the zebra crossing, while the traffic light was green in the driver's favour.
The woman appeared to be using her mobile phone when she looked up to see the upcoming vehicle.
By then it was too late and the car crashed into her, sending her flying sideways onto the street.
She slowly gets up and can be seen clutching her head as other cars drive by.
A man in a white shirt and another man in a red jacket (presumably the driver of the taxi) then ran forward to check on her.
