KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA - A woman who allegedly became jealous of her boyfriend's close frendship with a colleague resorted to posting supposed sexual services offered by her rival on several social networking sites. The 36-year-old victim, known as Sydney, claimed that her ordeal began in late February when she received an SMS from an unknown man requesting for sexual services. It was then that she found out that her profile and pictures had been posted on several websites, including Facebook, ahmoi.com and pinksofa.com.
'I was shocked to see my profile stating my interest in people's boyfriends and husbands. 'On the page, I was labelled as a 'loose and steamy woman' who provides sex,' said the sales executive at a press conference at the MCA Public Services and Complaints Department. 'I called up the web hosting provider and demanded that they immediately erase my account. I suspected it was her (the girlfriend of the colleague) but when I confronted her by phone she declined to say anything.'
The ordeal continued late last month when she discovered her profile on three more networking sites, including a lesbian website, describing her as a 'sex provider'. She said she had received at least 200 SMSes and 300 calls from anonymous people since February. Sydney said she was unable to change her mobile phone line because it belonged to her company. She believed the mischief was created by the colleague's girlfriend who used to work in the same firm and had<innity></innity> pr<innity></innity>eviously accused her of ruining her relation<innity></innity>ship with her boyfriend.</td></tr></tbody></table>
