PORNOGRAPHIC video games allowing players to “have sex” with Japanese anime female characters is believed to be the new craze among teenage boys, reported Harian Metro.
The report said the game required the players to go through several stages, from dating the girl and meeting her parents.
After successfully going through all the phases, the final stage of the game will allow players to see the seductive anime character naked and “have sex” with her.
This latest game was revealed when the Home Ministry's film control division seized various pornographic video games from a computer store in Seremban on March 8.
Division chief Zainal Abidin Othman said the raid was done after prior investigations showed that the pornographic games were being sold openly at RM15 per piece.
“We seized 25 CDs and four DVDs with many of them featuring Japanese anime female characters,” he said, adding that a 17-year-old teenager, who was taking care of the store, had been detained.
Zainal said the pornographic material was believed to be sold in other areas and investigations were ongoing to identify the source of the material.
“We will intensify our operations and continue monitoring developments to ensure this unhealthy activity is eradicated,” he said.
He added that observations by authorities showed teenage boys loved the games as it gave them “extraordinary satisfaction” of seducing a beautiful girl until she agreed to sleep with them.
