Sex-for-World-Series-Tickets Lady Sentenced
Posted by Stephen Smith

Susan Finkelstein
Apparently, offering sex for baseball tickets will land you in hot water but not in prison. A Philadelphia woman accused of offering sexual favors for World Series tickets was sentenced to one year of probation and ordered to perform 100 hours of community service.
Susan Finkelstein, 44, placed an ad on Craigslist with sexual overtones, but she said she's not a prostitute. In the ad, Finkelstein called her terms "negotiable" and herself "the creative type." "I wanted to get Series tickets I could afford," she told "Early Show" co-anchor Harry Smith last October. " ... I work in communications and PR (public relations). ... I wanted my ad to stand out" among ones soliciting customers for merchandise ... why not make it fun and witty?"
Finkelstein was cleared of prostitution charges but found guilty of attempted prostitution in March. Judge Albert Cepparulo called Finkelstein's crime "incredibly stupid," saying that her ad could have left her vulnerable to a predator. He urged her to speak to groups of women about the dangers of the Internet.
