Sex addict runs out of women
LYTHAM ST ANNES (England) - A BRITISH sex addict had to move towns after sleeping with every woman in the district, reported UK newspaper The Sun on Friday. Danny James, 27, reportedly had sex with more than 500 women before undergoing extensive therapy to cure his registered sex addiction, said The Sun. After sleeping with all the women available in his hometown of the seaside resort of Lytham St Annes in Lancashire, he had to go further afield to find dates.
'When there were no more women left in town I had not slept with I spent a fortune on taxis going further afield,' Mr James told The Sun. 'I could be spending hundreds of pounds a night partying and taking women back to hotels.'
Mr James said the one-night stands left him deeply depressed and led him to see psychotherapist Steven Pope, who helped him beat his addiction. Mr James now has a long-term partner and lives in Liverpool. Mr James also slammed the UK's treatment of sex addiction in comparison to that of the US. Referring to Tiger Woods, Mr James said: 'I am no top golfer but addiction to sex has seen me ruin relationships and my business. People treat it like a joke but it's a real problem.'
