Edwin got a nasty shock at the Sentosa Beaufort's terrace cafe, where he found a fly in his salad. What made it worse was the staff's nonchalant attitude when he informed them about it. He says:
"I spent my Christmas morning at Sentosa Beaufort hotel's terrace cafe.
"While I was happily tucking into my salad, I realised to my horror, there was an extra ingredient in the form of a dead fly!
"I just can't imagine if I had put that into my mouth. Yucks!
"And the best part was, when I subsequently informed the captain about the dead fly, his reply was 'Oh, I'll let the chef know', nonchalantly dismissing my claim as if nothing was wrong and wasn't his problem at all.
"What irritated me was that he didn't even apologise!
"Such bad attitude and lousy hygiene from a five-star hotel is simply intolerable!"
