See-through clips of divers on the net
Published Oct 11 2010
Following the exposure of China's diving queen Guo Jingjing's see-through pictures, a video clip of over 20 Olympics divers ,shot using the same method, has been circulating online. It is believed that the culprit used an infrared camera to capture the video clip from a seat in the spectator's gallery.
The 127-minute video shows some 20 Olympians from more than 10 countries in a practice session during the 2008 Beijing Olympics. It has 15 clips with each about 10 minutes long. The victims including Guo and Wu Mingxia (China), Yulia Pakhalina (Rusaia), Melissa Wu (Australia), Paola Espinosa and Tatiana Ortiz (Mexico). It is learnt that the clip was circulated on the Internet last year but was quickly removed. It has since surfaced again. The incident has caused a strong protest from the public, with many of them condemning the act as 'psychotic.' Chinese and Hong Kong female stars were also worried about them being the next targets. They had asked for strict punishment to the camera man.
