Search on for missing 9

<!-- by line --> By Jermyn Chow

THE massive search off Pedra Branca for nine missing Indonesian seamen and their sunken tugboat continues on Thursday. Two Singapore Navy (RSN) patrol vessesls, the RSS Fearless and Brave, with 30 crewmen aboard each, a Super Puma helicopter and three private ships are combing a 250-km area looking for survivors. The RSN's missile corvette warship RSS Vigilance is also on its way out to the accident area - some 45 nautical miles away from Singapore. The Singapore-registered Ocean Lark was travelling with 13 crew members onboard from Batam to Tarempa Naturna in Indonesia's Riau archipelago when it sank at about 5 am on Wednesday. Singapore was alerted to the incident after two crewmen were found adrift and rescued by a passing vessel several hours later. So far, two bodies have been pulled from the wreckage. The 767-tonne tugboat was not towing any barges when it capsized.
