Knn, they are so unflexible.

I'm eligible for handphone upgrade (less than 10 months to finish contract). I request to downgrade my plan, from $82 with free 700mins (i dun think i clocked more than half of the 700 mins), to $56 with free 300 mins + 12gig dataplan (I want to surf with my iPhone.)

I'm willing to pay the penalty if its justifiable, this malay guy told me i have to pay $800 for the penalty. Then i ask him again, how much do i have to pay to terminate the account? he said also $800.

It doesnt make sense, why would i want to pay $800 + signing another 2 years than paying $800 to terminate the line?

Everytime my 2 years contract is up, my handphone gives me a lot of problem; but once I renewed it the problem goes away by itself.
 
The way i look at it, it is solely yr fault. Having enjoy a higher subsidy when you signed up for a highend plan but decided to downgrade yr plan before the end of the contract. You can always switch yr handphone plan when yr contract expire, then definitely there is no charge or penalty involve.

I've been in this plan for the last 6 years, my fault? I want the iFlexi plan because i want to surf using my iPhone, I dun use much of the 700 minutes calltime, thats my reason why i wanna change, can't they fully understand what i wanted since i've been with them for more than 10 years?

I already said i dun mind to paying the penalty, but not the whole $800.

I just throw at them $800 just now, knowing my contract ends this end Nov, i will have to pay more than $800 by that time.

And i just subscribed with M1 for the Lite plan

$56 per month for 300 mins free and 12gig dataplan. Per seconds billing, and i fucking pay just $174 for the 16gig iPhone!!!

So screw you SingTel!!!!

Doesn't matter M1, Starhub or Singtel... all hab it's fair share of cumplain... The way i look at it... Any company whereby Tiumahsek have 1 leg sure gurantee farkup...

I'm pissed with SingTel because i've been a loyal subscriber for many years, but was screwed by them in the end.

The penalty amount is clearly stated in the contract you signed.

I agree, but they have to give me a solution, proposing to upgrade my plan and ask me to pay more when i'm already underuse my current plan is not a solution. Thats why i said they should be more flexible. I offered to pay the penalty, but definitely not in full :p:p:p:p
 
Brother, learn to live with the contracts we had signed.
When things doesn't go our way, we must learned our lessons.
The iphone is a want not a need.
Learn to live with you priorities and in the first place there maybe thousands out there who can't afford a handphone.
