Yesterday, the school’s board of governors chairman Lim Eng Sua said the Taiping district education office would be sending six counselling teachers to help the affected students.
He stressed that there was a teacher monitoring the scouts’ activities at the time of the incident and denied reports in several newspapers that the students were left unattended.
”The teacher is a very experienced and responsible person. He has been a scout master for more than 10 years,” he said.
