Scavengers scour through 'rubbish' from recycling bin

The old lady does not look like maid to me. She looks more like our own senior citizen trying to survive by picking up items to sell for her daily meals.

STOMPer Doris was shocked when she saw this 'maid' and a man, apparently a mini-mart owner, rummaging through a large recycling bin at Gangsa Road.

After the pair were done searching the rubbish in the bin, they packed their finds in a carton box and a plastic bag and brought them home.

Doris says in an email:

"A maid with thirty years experience working in Singapore and the man, and the owner of a mini-mart in an HDB Estate, were vigorously digging in a big recycling bin.

"See what both of them found?"

The stomper very suspicious, seems to 'know' a lot of detail about the 'maid' and the 'mini-mart owner'.

Maybe he's Doris estranged husband and that 'maids' his mother.

our ganhman also don't be bother with Snr citizen, "chi ki po chong" attitude.

I am sure they are poor enough to look for things in the re-cycle bin that can sell and in exchange for a meal! Why don't you try and look for re-cyle iten in the bin??

Our gahmen only take care of themself with million $$ salary they don't care about the poor, they can afford anything they want but not the poor and old!!

Please don't call them Scavengers it's bloody insulting wait till the day u are like them!! than u know!!
