SAF should provide NGOs with some SAF combat rations to supply to needy foreign workers who have been abandoned by their employers without food.
Since PAP gahmen is sponsoring fight against COVID-19 (which is arguably MOM and SAF mistake for being over dependent on foreign work permit holders and profited immensely from their levy payments), then SAF and MOM should jointly also rescue them with these combat rations in case their food supply is cut off whilst they are essentially under house arrest and cannot leave their abode due to draconian laws.
These combat rations will also come in handy to the NGO to provide food at short notice without incurring excessively high costs.
If these foreign workers fall sick due to neglect or hunger, then they will be well fed in public hospitals which will actually costs much more than the price of a combat ration meal.
This kind of stockpile of long shelf life pre-cooked food should also be available to Singaporeans in case of natural disaster and also stored at neighbourhood RC centres to be provided in times of emergency and also to those in police in police remains facilities in case the policeman in charge has no time to find proper food for the person in remand facility.
