SINGAPORE: A Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) regular serviceman, who was in Taiwan to support the SAF’s training there, has died.

A statement by Singapore’s Defence Ministry says First Sergeant Ang Joo Pin was found motionless in his bunk in a Taiwanese military facility on Monday at 7.15am.

He was given immediate medical attention by a SAF senior medic and efforts to resuscitate him continued en route to the hospital.

The 30—year—old ammunition technician arrived at the hospital at about 7.35am and was pronounced dead five minutes later.

MINDEF says it will assist the family in their time of grief and is investigating the incident.

Do u seriously need to blame SG for everything even if it makes no sense. Even if we DID do something that stupid like bringing water all the way to Taiwan, its still better then drinking local tap water. FYI Taiwanese tap water is unsafe for direct consumption

I stayed in those military camps in Kaoshiung before in my NS days for 2 months, missed those lovely TWMMs at the recreation centres in the camp working in pool saloons and movies cafes where you can order drinks and snacks and watch vcds played on a big screen...

Heck! They are so open, they even lend out RA or XXX titles and have rooms macham KTV rooms for horny soldiers to watch and wank in private... Never try though.



Reminded me of old Seletar Camp, Marine Castle recreation centre had girls to accompany horny SAF soldiers drinking there...

But back to the topic, those bunks where SG soldiers sleep in are pretty cramped, basically all sleep like sardines on a bunk bed that runs from one end to the other of the room on each side...

Maybe something supernatural killed this poor fellow??
