Does anyone know of any scholar general or senior civil servant that went on to great success in the private sector? For the sake of discussion, GLCs don't count.

I am interested in those who started their own business and made it big or those that made a positive impact in foreign MNCs.

Know one former air force commander who was dismissed for speaking up for one of his pilots against the jaik liao bee scholars in Mindef...... went on to work for a foreign company as their representative for Asia-Pac and that company outperformed ST Electronics annually..... Tarmasick wanted to headhunt him as their No.1 but he gave them the middle finger

Err why would they want to? Its tough be a scholar general / sr civil servant in the 1st place. You not only need o be smart but also must know whos balls to lick, whos cock to suck and whos ass to kiss. Finally after all the balls licking and cock sucking and ass kissing you have raised to a level where people lick your balls, suck your cock and kiss your ass you want to give it up and go into the private sector and do it all over again?
