FORMER Cortina Watch supervisor Jerry Ee allegedly started stealing from his employer from as far back as November 2006. The 35-year-old man is said to have misappropriated a $40,000 Patek Philippe - not from his last place of work at Cortina's Raffles City branch - but from another outlet at Paragon.

Nov 29, 2006: A $40,000 Patek Philippe watch from the Cortina store in Paragon.
Mid-2007: A $23,000 Audemars Piguet belonging to Jamie Wong Boon Yew; and a $36,000 Patek Philippe belonging to Chongviset Montree.
</td></tr> </tbody></table> Over the years, he is also said to have taken seven watches from five customers, believed to be foreigners, worth $183,000. These details emerged from the 12 fresh charges made against him yesterday, which date his alleged crimes back to Nov 29, 2006. This is the third time that Ee has been brought to court to face accusations since his return from Bangkok on March 19.
On March 21, he faced a single charge of criminal breach of trust for pocketing $27,137 in cash and 386 watches valued at $8.5 million from the Raffles City outlet.
Then last Friday, it emerged for the first time that the divorcee, who has an 11-year-old son, might have been pilfering from his employer even before that. He was slapped with 11 more charges for pocketing 11 Rolex watches worth $203,175 between May and December last year. Yesterday's set of charges involving 15 timepieces totalling $442,221 in value means the alleged loot was actually worth about $9.2 million. Ee, who speaks English, Mandarin and Thai, began working for Cortina Watch in April 2004 as a customer relations associate at its Raffles City branch. He handled customer inquiries, merchandise displays, pricing and inventory.
