RWS casino croupier and accomplice to be charged for cheating

SINGAPORE - Two men will be charged in court on Wednesday for cheating at play in Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) Casino, said police on Tuesday.
A 40-year-old man, who works as a croupier for RWS Casino, and his accomplice, a 65-year-old Singaporean man, are suspected of colluding at the gaming table to cheat the casino.
RWS alerted the police on Tuesday and officers from the Criminal Investigation Department arrested the croupier and his accomplice on the same day.
A total of $6,000 worth of casino chips, as well as other items believed to be used by the suspects to facilitate their crime, were also seized.
The two will be charged for cheating at play. If convicted, they may be fined up to $150,000, imprisoned for up to seven years, or both.
