Reports circulating in the Kremlin today state that Prime Minister Putin has ordered Russian military forces to prepare to confront American military forces in Afghanistan over what Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov warns is the “greatest threat to International peace and security”, Afghanistan’s thriving drug trade supported by the US and NATO.

Not being reported to the American people about the Afghanistan war is that it has nothing to do with their being protected from terrorists, but rather it involves the billions of dollars gained for many of the West’s top intelligence agencies (mainly the CIA) from the heroin produced in this region (90% of World’s total) that by 2001 the Taliban had virtually eliminated.

Immediately after the US invasion of Afghanistan in October, 2001, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) installed one of their main Afghan operatives, Hamid Karzai, as President, who then put into power his brother Ahmed Wali Karzai, who since then has increased heroin production to levels unseen in modern times and resulting in the deaths of tens of thousands of Russian citizens.

Viktor Ivanov, the head of Russia’s Federal Drug Control Service, Russia’s National drug enforcement agency, told parliament in May that it was reasonable to “call the flow of Afghan opiates the second edition of opium wars.” Ivanov was referring to the 19th-century war between Britain and China sparked by exports of opium from British India to China.

Ivanov isn’t alone.

“I can name you a lot of politicians in Russia who said that the Americans specially arranged the situation in Afghanistan so that we would receive a lot of drugs, and this is the real aim of their occupation,” said Andrei Klimov, the deputy head of the foreign affairs committee in Russia’s lower house of parliament. “I’m not sure this is true, but who knows.”

One person who definitely knew it was true was German President Horst Koehler, who after returning from Afghanistan last month linked the war with the defense of German economic interests because it was securing free trade routes for the West and had nothing to do whatsoever with terrorism. For his “outspokenness” President Koehler was forced to resign plunging an already battered Chancellor Merkel into even greater political turmoil.

Most shocking to understand about the CIA’s being the World’s largest drug trafficker is that it isn’t even kept secret anymore and has been embraced by their new President, Barack Obama, who has used billions of dollars earned through Afghan heroin deals to fund his sending US Special Forces teams to over 75 different Nations as well as building for them a new $100 million headquarters base in Afghanistan while his own citizens plunge deeper into poverty.

Important to note though is that Obama is far from being the first American President to embrace the drug trade as nearly all of his predecessors were likewise involved in starting and maintaining wars to keep the billions earned from this most despicable of crimes preying on the weakest people in their society, mainly the poor and people of colour.

For those few reporters seeking to inform the American people about this crime the hard and brutal lesson learned from the late Gary Webb’s blacklisting and suiciding by US intelligence agents after his revealing the CIA’s involvement in the drug trade presents a chilling example of what these monsters will do to protect themselves and their right to poison anyone they so choose.

Interesting to note too is that according to the head of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime, Antonio Maria Costa, said he has seen evidence that the proceeds of organized crime were “the only liquid investment capital” available to some banks on the brink of collapse last year. He said that a majority of the $352 Billion of drugs profits was absorbed into the economic system as a result.

Though the American people still ignore the crimes being perpetrated by their so called leaders, the lessons of their own history should not be lost upon them, especially when viewed in the light of the use of drug and alcohol laws used for mass imprisonment while at the same time instituting around them a draconian tyrannical society where all their freedoms will be stripped from them.

And for those American’s thinking that their life couldn’t get any worse? They couldn’t be more mistaken! For just this past week Obama’s Federal Trade Commission (FTC) released what they call a “staff discussion draft” of “potential policy recommendations to support the reinvention of journalism” wherein they called for doctrine of “proprietary facts” that would outlaw anyone writing or reporting on anything that happens unless they use the “facts” provided to them by the government.

But than again, and as the history of these American’s seems to show, with their massive government debt about to eclipse their Gross National Product (GDP) for the first time in history, their once vital Gulf of Mexico region succumbing to the World’s worst oil spill catastrophe, and their NASA scientists now warning that the “awakening” Sun may destroy everything anyway, maybe they truly can’t be told the truth and must be treated like the children they act like.

Afghanistan

Have anyone truly questioned why these region are of interest to the following super powers?

1. USA
2. RUSSIA
3. EUROPE UNION
4. CHINA

There is actually a resource war going on between these super power.

Afghanistan is a strategic location for USA to build their OIL/GAS pipelines to siphon resources from Central Asia.

Why was Pakistan being invade by US troops?

Because, the pipes ends at Pakistan Seaport, and the OIL/GAS sea freighters will transport these precious resources into USA.

Russia is finding a reason to start war with USA.

If Russia truly send troops to Afghanistan, we are looking at the beginning of a global conflict, that will include the super powers.

Take article with pinch of salt. Why should Russia even need to fight a war. Just shut down US logistics for Afghanistan coming via Russia (with Russian support) and start funding the Talibans and US will have a nightmare on their hands. The Russians just do not want the US to move into their sphere of influence - Georgia (US support), Kyrgystan (US airbase). Russians just do not want US military assets at their border. Same reason why China will forever keep North korea alive because they do not want US troops at their border.

In any major land offensive you need huge staging area for materiel. Currently the US has no such means so as to pose threat to China. Russia is concerned with georgia because that could become a loophole.

As for pipeline via Afghanistan and Pakistan - that is too unreliable. Current efforts in Afghanistan inflames public sentiments against the US and not worth the oil. After all if pakistan cracks it could mean nuclear arms proliferation and that could endanger Israel..

The Chinese have better chances of success than the US. After all China has good relations in Pakistan as it is Chinese assistance that keeps Pakistan on the level with India. China is not bombing Afghanistan but it does have a shared border with Afghanistan. So the Chinese are the ones that have the best chance.

US is not interested in the proposed gas pipeline. USA itself has lots of gas.

Dear longbow,

You are an intellectual who reads widely...

I respect your due diligence.

It is true that USA have a lot of gas and oil in their own soil.

It is also true that USA have a policy to siphon all other nation's resources before they finally use their own reserves.

The global conflict that exist today is dominance in Military Power Globally.

Reason? So that you can control economics and media.

This phase of control is via force, when Information and Economics do not work, the last phase of control is via force.

true true, that one of reason why china despite sitting on one the world biggest coal reserve is buying coals from australia.

US have a huge oil gas reserve sitting under Alaska, but they face many domestic pressure opposing to digging there, it will devastate the environment.

Without oil, US war machine is nothing but one huge chunk of useless metals, they know the days of unlimited oil supply is gone, many data shows that the oil crisis is nearer then we thought.

The peak oil production is in 2008, from there onward, in simple terms, we are sucking dry in oil field all over the world, it is down hill all the way, to make matter worse, China, India all experiencing spike in demand for their growth.

Exploration effort came out with bleak result, we can no longer sustain the oil consumption vs the oil we pump out from the ground, the peak supply is over, we got so use to having unlimited supply, the hunger for oil will continue to go north but the supply will go south.

The next world war will be a war for oil and natural resources, like water.
When? Hopefully I won't live to see it.

It could also be Russian and US vs China.
When it comes to oil, anything goes.

China will be very happy if Russia and US conflict start. Of course both will not fight in the front line but they will provide weapon for local to fight.
Both Russia and US will going bankrupt. And China will become world biggest economy.

romance of three kingdoms [contemporary version]? :D:D:D

What type of coal does China has lots??? What type of coal does China buys from OZ??? You think coal is coal??? You sure lignite or sub bituminous coal can be use for steel production???

How much oil is there in Alaska. How much oil can Alaska produce daily. What is US daily consumption rate?

.

You know the difference between cheap to produce oil and expensive to produce oil??? You think oil has the same production cost?? Can you find out how much does it cost to produce a barrel of oil in Saudi Arabia vs US Gulf of Mexico??

All depend how many pump Alaska have. If they can add more pump sure oil qty will increase but will drain the oil well faster. What US try to do is to drain Arab oil ASAP so that the middle east Muslim all will die in hunger and disease. :D

Islamic militants just need to hit oil rigs around the world .

USA war machines will be down .

USNORTHCOM Gears Up For Potential Attack On U.S. Soil

USNORTHCOM admits that they are preparing military operations within the United States. This is the first time in history this has been done. They will be working with DHS, state and local law enforcement on U.S. soil.

The focus of this operation will be in our back yard. This ORI is planning on defending against enemy attacks, supporting civilian authorities with fighting an unconventional foe in the U.S.

NORTHCOM went on to say that the drill will be in the Gulf area. They antcicipate no infulstructure and extreme weather conditions.

“Even more significant, this inspection marked the first time that any Air Force unit has been wartime validated in support of the security and defense of the United States of America. That’s huge,” Nelson said.

The survival of thousand Americans rests on this training they went on to say.

The Intel Hub believes they are preparing for a major biological attack or false flag. We will keep you posted. This could be part of Operation Garden Plot. This could be why there is a hardened troop build up in the Gulf.

Units make history with Air Force’s first homeland defense ORI

By Maj. Dale Greer

123rd Airlift Wing Public Affairs

June 3, 2010

GULFPORT, Miss. – Three units representing each component of the Air Force made history here May 16 through 23 when they successfully completed the first homeland defense operational readiness inspection.

The ORI, held at the Gulfport Combat Readiness Training Center here, was administered by the Air Mobility Command Inspector General on a trial basis, but it may help pave the way for future inspections, officials said.

“For the very first time, the U.S. Air Force has validated a unit’s wartime capability to defend the homeland by fighting an enemy right here on U.S. soil,” said Col. Greg Nelson, the commander of the Kentucky Air National Guard’s 123rd Airlift Wing, which served as the lead organization for the ORI.

“That represents a major shift in the way Air Force (leaders evaluate) unit readiness, because it puts the focus in our own backyard, rather than a simulated overseas location where these evaluations are usually staged,” he said.

The inspection was a total force effort, with the 123rd Airlift Wing representing the Air National Guard; the 317th Airlift Group from Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, providing active-duty forces; and the 70th Aerial Port Squadron from Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla., contributing Air Force Reserve members and equipment.

As with traditional ORIs, this one tested the ability of each unit to mobilize Airmen and equipment, fly to a remote site, operate in a hostile environment, defend against enemy attacks, and redeploy back home, all while AMC inspectors evaluated every phase of the operation.

Unlike traditional ORIs, in this one the participants were tasked with supporting civil authorities while fighting an unconventional foe in the United States. In the past, ORIs have typically required units to deploy to simulated overseas bases and defend against conventional military forces.

“I’m pleased to say that all three units passed this new test with flying colors,” Nelson said. “We are ready to perform our mission of theater airlift anytime, anywhere, whether it be in support of our allies abroad or here at home in defense of the United States of America.”

The ORI scenario that played out in Mississippi required more than 300 Kentucky Air Guard members to establish operations in concert with about 175 Airmen from the Texas and Florida units, forming the notional 104th Air Expeditionary Wing.

All three organizations worked seamlessly to launch theater airlift and medical evacuation sorties across the Gulf Coast region, supporting U.S. Northern Command missions and civil authorities, while foiling multiple attacks by well-organized terrorists.

The inspection posed an unusually challenging environment because of extreme weather conditions and several eleventh-hour changes caused by the non-availability of infrastructure, Nelson said.

“We didn’t flinch. We didn’t whine. We didn’t push back to any challenge, from changes in taskings, to changes in locations, to changes in facilities at the last minute,” he said. “(With temperatures hovering near 100 degrees), it also was the hottest ORI the team chief had even seen. But we maintained a great attitude, we operated safely, and we performed our mission with a level of excellence that makes me proud.

“Even more significant, this inspection marked the first time that any Air Force unit has been wartime validated in support of the security and defense of the United States of America. That’s huge,” Nelson said.

Col. Dan Dagher, the 317th Airlift Group commander, agreed.

“The 317th (AG), 123rd (AW) and 70th (APS) are ready — and now tested — to meet the challenge, reduce human suffering and save lives,” he said. “If an attack on the homeland happens, we will be the first responders. Americans can sleep better knowing that the 317th (AG), 123rd (AW) and 70th (APS) can provide defense support to civil authorities in the United States, and that the very survival of thousands of … Americans rests on our now-tested ability to immediately respond and perform mass-casualty medical evacuations after a chemical attack.”

Nelson said the idea for a homeland defense/homeland security ORI originated at the Kentucky Air Guard, whose leaders asked AMC to consider using the alternate approach because it better reflects the realities of a post-9/11 world in which homeland defense has taken center stage.
