Actor Chow Yun Fatt is offering S$200,000 for a surrogate mother, reported a Hong Kong news agency.

It was said that the he was fulfilling his 90-year-old mother's wish of having a grandchild.

In 1991, his wife, Singaporean Jasmine Tan, suffered from a miscarriage and they've been trying for a child ever since, reported Shin Min daily.

According to the evening newspaper, it took Ms Tan a number of years to tide over the trauma; hence, he did not dare raise the issue of a child. Yet, while he was trying to be an understanding husband, his mother was urging for a grandchild, said the same news source.

The couple have since considered several possible methods including artificial insemination as well as hiring a surrogate mother.

How old are Chow and Jasmine? Can still have children meh?

Another Hakka Lo full of himself. Overly demanding for mega star treatment when he should had shown humility more fitting to the screen persona that was the main source of his success. Whatever happened to Jasmine Tan? She looks like a grandmother!

I'm sure some singkie star struck woman will be more than happy to oblige.

i heard surrogate mother in india is very cheap.

he should try that out.

perfect chance for local girls to earn 200k as a scholarship to relief the burden of their studies. prehaps this will reduce the number of local undergrad bitting the dust
