> Kosmo! reported that Kuala Lumpur City Hall tore down 262 makeshift rooms which were used for vice activities in Jalan Petaling and Jalan Silang.
City Hall security and enforcement deputy chief Tanda Usoh said this was the ninth time that the local authority conducted a large scale anti-vice operations in the area but the illegal activities would invariably return.
“A total of 225 rooms demolished were in 10 premises in Jalan Petaling and the rest were in two premises in Jalan Silang,” he said, adding that the rooms were separated by plywood walls.
