Revisit Teh Cheang Wan’s legacy, upgrade Hougang and PP !

Late Teh Cheang Wan was the HDB chief, what damage did he done to the HDB flats?

Ah Teh was well praised during his tenure, a resourceful architect. Did Ah Teh’s death mean the case is close? How come no PAP MP asks this question?

Was HDB-lift not stopping at every floor a defect or the consequence of his corruption?
Were toilet’s window frames in wood, leaky toilets, pipes in rusty iron, etc, also the effect?

So why is the PAP using lift upgrading to stop at every floor as a political weapon to hijack the voters?? Are the voters stupid ? They, the voters pay for the lift upgrading, HIP, MUP, etc...

PAP MPs or the Straits Times reporters should revisit Teh Cheang Wan’case and reveal what actually happened during his HDB tenure. Those contractors and suppliers involved should also shed light on what actually happened.

If those HDB flats were built in mediocre standard due to Ah Teh’s corruption, PAP and its HDB should be responsible for all the defects of the HDB flats built during Ah Teh’s tenure.

PAP must not threaten voters with the lift upgrading during GE’s hustings until Ah Teh’s case is thoroughly investigated.

PAP people using public money to upgrade certain Townships that voted for them is tantamount to mismanaging public funds.

“Every dog has its day”. This unfair practice will someday go on trial when PAP is no more a ruling party. Local people will remember this forever. All bad things will come to end. What goes up must come down. Old -sick people will die someday, crawling out of the grave is a retarded joke.

The sin for PAP people will compound if Hougang and Potong Pasir are not upgraded sooner ! We will remember the Hougang and Potong Pasir's story forever !


If any friends of Goh Chok Tong is reading this message, please remind Mr Goh to touch his conscience that Hougang and PP residents have many local singaporeans whose sons have served NS, pay taxes...........God and deities are watching.....

Teh cheang Wah got memoirs? Where? I want to buy it. How can a dead per write memoirs.

I think u are mistaken about the real reason for teh Cheang Wan's demise. And u are asking the wrong questions too. Teh Cheang Wan was just the bag man for the LKY and the PAP Honchos. he went around and collected bribes and kickbacks from the contractors and dispersed it to the top PAP echelon. Even the ISD has admitted that he was collecting millions of dollars for years. U think they quietly let him carry on and than catch him after he made so much money? Where is all these supposed millions that he collected illegally? How come the state of Singapore never made any moves to seize his assets and recover the bribes. His estate should have been bankrupted to do this. Surely in a small country like Singapore where the Govt. controls all the banks and electronic communications, tracking down his millions would not be difficult. The reason is that the money is not in his possession anymore. Its already been dispersed. U think he is the sole beneficiary but he is not. Even if he did not collect bribes from the contractor, there would still be no lifts on every floor and the quality would still have been poor. It is designed that way so that down the road, the HDB can force u into expensive "upgrades". This is build in obsolescence.


The HDB flats are build to a mediocre standard so that they cannot last 99 years and are lucky to last 50 years. Don't forget that u do not own the HDB flat. U are a tenant. So, why should the landlord build a nice flat for u when he is going to rent that to you? Waste of money for him right?


U are an idiot, which MP and Shit times reporter want to commit political and economic suicide by asking these questions? The contractors have already told the ISD what they know.
