London, May 23(ANI): England striker Wayne Rooney maintains that the Three Lions have the potential and players to win next month’s World Cup in South Africa.

“I think we can. Yeah, we’ve got a good chance. Get some players back who’ve been out for a while then we should have a great chance! We have got some players who can win games for us and that’s important,” News of The World quoted Rooney, as saying.

“You look at Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Jermain Defoe, they can all win a game for you so, hopefully, our big players will perform there.”

“We’ve definitely got the quality, we’ve got the players and the manager has been brilliant, so everything is there for us. It’s set for us to do something special there,” he added.

When asked about other teams whom he thinks have a good chance of winning the trophy, Rooney said: “Spain, Brazil, Italy, Germany, Argentina - there are a lot of teams. It’s about performing at your best and getting a bit of luck as well.” (ANI)

I bet Germany in Ger Vs Eng match and won. I never see who are the players in the team. I knew England will lose is that because they dont have many good players. I know many bros here watched EPL matches. But do you know that most of the players in EPL are from all over the world??? They have players from different countries in their teams. So when you watched EPL and it is so exciting is because a lot of good players from different countries.

But when comes to World Cup, they must be from their own countries, and England doesnt have many good players in their team, so highly chances of losing.

Just my on thoughts, correct me if I am wrong bro.
