This is the most stupid and thinking removing hawkers from the street will make BKK more vibrant ?

Why not the Thai authority comes and make sure the street are well take care off.

Street food are one of the attraction that make BKK famous. You can have classy and spanking new shopping mall, but you can afford to make the bkk more vibrant by leaving these stalls intact. Generating life and vibrancy. Tourists will want to visit them

new pm trying to emulate sg. complains about sg having sexclusive deal with swift and now wants streets to be cleared. but first he has to find alternate locations in bkk to move these street vendors to. may be set up sheltered hawker centers to concentrate, sanitize, organize, rent, provide piped water, sewage and waste water discharge to clean up street food offerings? inevitably if he wants bkk to be like sg he has to plan bkk like a sim city.

Why the new pm think that by cleaning up the street , they are emulating Singapore ?

Thailand has so much space and resources. Singapore has limited land and that's why space must be planned ahead.

Do these people in Thai government use their brain and think through? Any thought process being given ?

They have enough shopping mall and I hope that they do wonders with it. Tourists visit a certain places because these places give out a certain vibe that they like or appreciate. The shopping is certainly 100x bester then Singapore can provide.

Income inequality is really bad in Thailand. Government should think of ways to improve the education and build industrial that future people has meaningful employments. By having hawker centre on street, it provided jobs so that people can earn a honest day living.

Cleaning up the street and sending these people to food courts or hawker centre should be the last thing in mind.
