Taliban in a gathering in Kabul said that their 20 years of struggle (Jihad) should not go in vain and religious scholars should take the lead and be the core of the upcoming government in Afghanistan.
Taliban had invited tens of religious scholars in a grand gathering to ask their cooperation in forging a sound political system and inviting people to support the future government.
Spokesperson of the Afghanistan Islamic Emirate Zabiullah Mujahid said that they are creating an all-inclusive government in which the rights of all people will be secure.
The Taliban talks about forging an inclusive government at a time when there is yet to be seen any progress in this regard and Afghanistan is still an incomplete political vacuum.
Mujahid assured the former officials of government to be secure to return to work and since they have announced a general amnesty, and revenge will not be sought.
“Irrespective of the partisan, lingual, and sectarian values, the people should come together and work for the development of Afghanistan as Afghans.” Said Mujahid.
The spokesperson also accused the US of causing chaos in Hamid Karzai International Airport and asked people to not seek refuge in other countries as they will live like prisoners and will not live a cozy life….
