that's a very long answer....
literally, a lot of stars with cosmic void in between.
if you are referring to where we actually came from can read
@UltimaOnline 's books on reincarnation for a whole bunch of in-depth info. He is the best resource for this info. Please note that early Abrahamic religions also had reincarnation as part of their knowledge base. This was subsequently removed because the priesthood felt it gave too many chances for people to screw up and they wanted people to toe the line more.
but I will attempt to summarize my opinion as briefly as possible :
- We are comprised of two distinct parts
- The first and most important part of us is the energy our souls that is our consciousness and binds our mass and interacts with other energies
- The second and more basic part of us is the descendants of apes, which are descendants of sea sponges which are descendants of single-celled life. The end result of a long chain of evolution powered by the energy from the sun and the earth's inherent geothermal energy.
- The first powers the 2nd. Self-evident when you see a person aging from child to old age. Also apparent when dealing with some young people who have lost the will to live and start aging dramatically or some old people who seem to be energetic despite advanced years. The 2nd is a corporeal vessel and a manifestation of the 1st.
- This three dimensional universe as large and unfathomable as it is is actually a subset of a higher order of dimensional existence. Current physics has placed the total number of dimensions at 11. We perceive only 3+1. Three we can interact with and one we are subject to. Interestingly, gravity is one of those forces that is outside the 3+1 and we all can feel it's effects if not perceive it directly.
- Our souls and energy derive from those higher order dimensions as does the energy required to power and create the entire physical form of this three dimensional universe.
- It is this energy that we are a part of that forms the basis of universal existence. Remove the energy and the rest would quickly disintegrate.
- Physics is remarkably adept at explaining this. e=mc2. Einstein's energy is equivalent to mass. laws of thermodynamics also state that energy can neither be created nor destroyed. I find the two remaining laws of thermodynamics regarding entropy to be a limitation of our three dimensional perception. We can also see that in this 3d existence entropy in aging. Yet, how in the world does a new life, plant or animal come into the world with so much energy? If anyone has seen a newborn before, especially animals, it is remarkable that 2 cells can create this being with so much coherence in physical form and energy. The amount of food consumed by the parent cannot explain the living force within such a creature. As it ages, the energy leaks or is subject to entropy, that's why things that grow older seem to lose energy. So there is a pathway to explain reverse entropy. Nobody has explained it yet nor do I know how to. But just that when we see new life come into existence, it is observable so there must be a way.
- So when we die, our energy dissipates into the multi-verse. When we are born that energy is somehow coalesced into a small little bundle.
- Colllectively, I don't know what to call all our energies, the energies within all consciousness and all universes, but some people will look at what I wrote and say "god". I find it a very shallow and narrow definition of the wonder of it all, but I don't have a good name for it. And it is certainly inadequately described and definitely misused in religion. Maybe you can come up with a good name.
- When we die, we get re-integrated into this energy and when we are born we are differentiated from this energy only to be re-integrated at death.
Hope it was clear!
