According to Sharia, leaving Islam is a capital offense for Muslims, and preaching to Muslims is a capital offense for non-Muslims. These missionaries could accordingly be put to death.

“Somaliland: Spreading the Christian religion Is a Crime? Police arrest two men,” Geeska Afrika, October 5, 2020:

Somaliland police in northern Somalia have confirmed the conclusion of investigations into cases of suspected christian missionaries.

The two suspects were nabbed last week in Hargeisa following public tips off….

The spokesperson, Faisal His Elmi who spoke to the media said…”They were arrested while trying to deceive and convince locals to quit their Islam religion, immediately the law enforcement officers started investigation and now it complete,” he said.

The officer warned against any attempt to spread any other religion not Islam.

“These guys have been doing for a while but we were waiting for evidence which can us pounce on them, let this be warning to those trying to mislead the public,” he said.

Somalia is a muslim country and [it is not] permissable for non-muslim missionaries to operate in it as both religion and culture of country outlaws the move.

The country allows the christians to live peace and freely as far as they would not interfere with Islam issues.

Freedom of faith is enshrined in the quran. Only error here is, there should be no compulsion in faith. And not religion.

  1. Short Description
In a clear and basic rule about the religious freedom and the freedom of expression in Islam, God Almighty says: “Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error.” [Al-Baqara: 256].
Freedom of belief in Islam

  1. In a clear and basic rule about the religious freedom and the freedom of expression in Islam, God Almighty says: “Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error.” [Al-Baqara: 256]. The Prophet (PBUH) and the Muslims after him did not order anyone to compulsorily embrace Islam. Neither did they force people to look like Muslims to escape death or torture. How can they do this and they well know that if someone accepts Islam under duress, his Islam becomes valueless in the Doomsday, which every Muslim seeks to realize.

It was mentioned in the reasons behind the revelation of the aforementioned verse: Ibn Abbas said: “The women of the Helpers whose boys always died in infancy used to vow to bring up their boys as Jews if they were to live. When the Banu'l-Nadir were driven out, they had among them children of the Helpers. The Helpers said: 'We will not leave our children!' Upon which Allah, exalted is He, revealed: “Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error.” [1]

Issue of faith, will of man

Islam has made the issue of faith or non-faith one of the issues that are dependant on man’s own will and his inner convictions. God Almighty says: “Let him who will believe, and let him who will, reject (it).” [Al-Kahf: 29] The Quran also has attracted the Prophet’s attention to this truth and told him that he is only responsible for calling people to Allah and he has no authority to convert them to Islam. He says: “Wilt thou then compel mankind, against their will, to believe!” [Yunus: 99] and said: “Thou art not one to manage (men's) affairs” [Al-Ghashiyya: 22] and said: “If then they run away, we have not sent thee as a guard over them.” [Ash-Shura: 48]. Consequently, it becomes clear that the constitution of Muslims stipulates freedom of belief and categorically rejects compelling anybody to accept Islam.[2]

In Islam, apostasy has been tconsidered both a religious crime and a civil liability.

As a religious crime the punishment includes death or prison.
The civil penalties. includes state enforced annulment of his or her marriage, seizure of the person's children and property with automatic assignment to guardians and heirs, and death for the apostate.

“When you meet the unbelievers, strike the necks” (Qur’an 47:4).

Q 47:4 only relate to time of warfare. During Prophet days if u dont kill ur enemies they will kill us. Nothg unusual.

Malaysia: 3 Christians preaching Christianity to Malay-Muslims and a man accused of spreading Shia Islam disappearance stokes fears

The disappearance of three Christians and a man accused of spreading Shia Islam in Malaysia has prompted fears that authorities are targeting religious minorities with extrajudicial detention.

Video and witness evidence indicate that highly organised groups carried out abductions in public. Months after the men disappeared, family members have learned nothing about their whereabouts and human rights activists say police have taken an uncharacteristically “casual” approach to the cases.

“Do I think the state is linked to this? It is a difficult question to answer,” said Suzanna Liew, wife of pastor Raymond Koh, who went missing on 13 February. “But can I rule out the possibility that people in power are linked to this or know more than they are admitting? No, I cannot.”

Koh had been accused of attempting to convert Muslims – a crime in Malaysia – and had a received death threat. Less is known about the abduction of the Christian pastor Joshua Hilmy – a convert from Islam – and his wife Ruth, who were reported missing in March.

A fourth person also disappeared in a similar way. Amri Che Mat, abducted in November, according to witnesses, was accused of preaching Shia Islam, which is not recognised in officially Sunni Malaysia.

It does not say in time of danger, it says when you meet unbelievers. Koran is not a book promoting compassionate and peace loving.

If really no compulsion, apostasy law won't exists.

Yup. U must read in context. If u follow ur ISIS interpretation tere wont be 40% non muslims in Msia

47:1 to 47:3, the context is not war but like secret society or cult, once you don't join the consequence is 47:4.

Only muslims wish to join ISIS, even peaceful singapore we have a number of sinkie malays detained under internal security act for attempting to join ISIS.

47:1
Those who disbelieve and avert [people] from the way of Allah - He will waste their deeds.

47: 2
Those who disbelieve and hinder men from the way of ALLAH - HE renders their works vain. 47: 3. But as for those who believe and do righteous deeds and believe in that which has been revealed to Muhammad - and it is the truth from their Lord - HE removes from them their sins and sets right their affairs.

47:3
That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, while those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. Thus does Allah set forth their parables for mankind.

No difference between war and non war time, refusing to subsribe to you allah, the consequence is 47:4. Stringed all together, Islam is a deadly cult I would avoid. Don't say no compulsion in Islam. Jihadis follow allah's path and got rewarded with virgins in heaven.

Tat retard Duluxe dont ustand simple English. N want to interprete Arab. Tere is no compulsion in Islam

Agree, Koran has a no compulsion verse. Like many koran verses, it can be contradict ed by another verse or verses. Koran is the compilation of the works of several men with different thoughts and views, this explain the resons for the many conflicting verses. No compulsion is contradicted by apostasy law.
