Reduce Intake or Reduce FT?

From what i have been reading, the PAP are talking about reducing intake of FTs and not reduce FTs....

for past 5 years, the intake was about 100,000 PRs, maybe now reduce to 90,000 per annum?

Less 10% think we idiot ? Must be cut at least 80% intake/year.
Minister think we don't know math/count. Even if cut 80% the PR figure(total will increase adding every year headcount) meaning keep on adding figure.

I think the cut might have already began. My colleague's friend who owns a food stall in the CBD area was telling us that he is having problems hiring new chefs due to MoM having stop issuing new S-Pass

reduce intake so that over time can reduce PRs. Not fair to those who are already here. No fault of theirs to tekan them.

It's a natural progression and reaction, whether or not locals are making noise. Locals increase at less than 2% per year while foreigners increase at over 20% per year. No advance maths required to figure out that foreigners will outnumber locals in a few years' time, sooner than later. If the locals keep quiet, they'd be more worried.
