Natthawut Saikua, a red-shirt leader, told the protesters at Rajprasong Intersection, that they could leave and go home if they feel unsafe and if the government imposes curfew on parts of Bangkok.

Natthawut said the red-shirt guards at all checkpoions would not try to stop the protesters from leaving.

He said protesters, who came in family, could move to live in the Pathuwanaram Temple for the safety of children.

Those who want to go home but are not sure that they will be safe or not could move to the temple to wait for evacuation by authorities.

TNN 24 reported that some women and children had started moving to live in the temple or at least use toilets and shower there.

But the station said it was not sure whether those, who took a refuge in the temple, wanted to go home or not.

Pathuwanaram Temple near Rachaprasong square was declared safe zone for both parties, government or red shirts, anybody who want to go in there must leave their weapons outside, safe passage is arranged from inside the temple
