The red shirt crowds will hold a mass rally at Sanam Luang on December 28, one day ahead of the policy debate, organiser Veera Musigapong said on Friday.

Veera said he would push for the Democrat-led coalition to dissolve the House right after announcing its policy statement to Parliament.

He said he had no confidence in the Abhisit Vejjajiva government because it had the linkage with the People's Alliance for Democracy.

How do you read the future of Thailand?

Right now, there are revolutions no matter which side becomes government. Does this spell the end of electoral politics?

The funny thing is like the minority resort to violence and this can topple the govt.

A lot of qualified politicians have been banned for politics for 3-5 years.
It's like a soccer team where the 1st 11 get banned for months, you play your 2nd team, gets banned again, no more senior players then you have to dig into the U19 or U17, that is the result.

The only thing that the Democrats can do to earn some votes is by bringing the yellow sanitary PAD to task and charge those leaders. If not, the majority of Thaksin supporters will never switch over to supporting the democrats.

Holding mass rally will not do anything much unless this time the reds follow what the yellow did and only then the country will plunge down to dark days again. In 3-6 months time, if the country's economy does not move up, then Abhisit will be in deep trouble. It's a very short period, but the people don't think they can wait for 1-2 years.
With the world's economy in bad shape, actually it would be good for the Puea Thai to stand 1 side first and see.

No matter how much bailouts by US, Europe can't even save their own industry, what can Democrats do to change the situation to their own country?
