STOMPer Ivy had an unpleasant journey on an SBS bus yesterday, when water seeps into the windows during a downpour.

She said:

"I was travelling on SBS bus service 196 yesterday and had the most unpleasant experience.

"It was pouring heavily.

"I got a seat on the first seat on the upper deck.

"As the bus started moving, water started splashing around and many commuters had to keep their feet off the ground the entire journey.

"It was quite a big puddle! Water was also seeping in from the windows as the seals were broken/ loose.

"So other then keeping our feets off the ground, we had to keep away from the windows. It was after-work hours and the bus was very crowded. It was really a terribly uncomfortable ride.

"Attached pictures I have taken. With all the hikes in fare prices, I really wonder if proper bus maintenance are carried out regularly?

"Are the buses even road-worthy?"
