i remember vividly few months ago Tony Tan said the the US problem is something unseen in thirty years. I was at east coast park with my family on a saturday. read the papers and saw tony tan said something. I knew what he said was very correct cos i was already thinking along his line. The next day analysts and other pp commented that he was too gloomy. And even the PM come out to say something like not so serious. The following day, due to the 'overwhelming response', he had to come out and clarify that there is a only one-third chance of a fianancial tsunami. U guys out there got to learn this: For pp like Tony tan to say something like that is not easy. Most of the so-called elites in politics would choose to keep mum and not say a thing. Worse, not only would they not warn u abt this, they will paint u rosy picture and say things like golden period, times are good..we are insulated, our economy foundation is sound etc. Tony Tan must be enough level of confidence. He could choose to keep quiet and offend no one. But he didn't. It's just like he saw the fire in the neighbourhood and he thinks that it will s[read to yr house. He quickly sound u out. He is just being kind and brave. Other pp would rather to wait for the fire to burn yr rooftop, confirm serious then tell u to run. Then it's too late. Who is the kind soul here.
