廉署去年拘捕三十名政府人員，較前年的二十人大幅上升五成。

廉政專員白韞六書面回覆立法會特別財委會提問時指，廉署去年共接獲七百七十一宗涉及政府部門的貪污投訴，其中警隊佔最多，達二百零九宗，可追查個案佔一百四十四宗；房屋署排第二，有七十四宗；食物及環境衞生署排第三，有七十二宗。
廉署會就每一宗已完成調查的案件交予審查貪污舉報諮詢委員會，去年經該委員會討論及建議後，廉署轉介四十宗案件涉及七十四名政府人員予相關決策局或部門，以考慮採取紀律處分及或行政處理，相比前年轉介卅二宗案件涉及五十五名政府人員，分別上升兩成五及三成五。
議員指貪污「一宗都嫌多」
曾任職廉署的立法會議員林卓廷表示，雖然廉署拘控數字有起有跌，但公務員操守問題一直令人關注，如涉及有組織的貪污行為更令人憂慮，「一宗都嫌多」，認為政府高層應以身作則，因上樑不正下樑歪，防止公務員貪污問題惡化。
廿三萬監察發言人王國興亦指，政府及公職人員行為失當的個案有上升趨勢，有需要嚴厲打擊，至於警務人員被捕人數上升，相信是由於其人數較其他部門為多有關，樹大有枯枝，希望警隊高層可正視問題。
另一方面，就市民關注的樓宇管理及維修，包括涉圍標活動的貪污案件，廉署去年接獲十四宗相關貪污投訴，其中八宗可追查，截至今年二月底，尚有三宗仍在調查。廉署執行處一個常設組別專責調查該類案件，有四十三名人員。此外，執行處亦於二○一五年四月調配內部資源及人手特別成立一個九人專案小組，集中處理包括涉圍標活動的貪污投訴。鑑於「樓宇更新大行動 2.0」將於今年年中推出，廉署會靈活調配資源積極應對。
港珠澳橋工程 設防貪措施
另外，就港珠澳大橋香港段工程項目，廉署防貪處一直有透過審查研究和諮詢服務，協助發展局和工務部門就各個主要程序，包括工程招標、地盤監督和合約管理等，加入防貪措施。
至於廉署的人事任命安排爭議，署理執行處首長丘樹春署任近兩年仍未「坐正」，白韞六指，就管理層觀察所得，廉署人員士氣良好，非自然流失率亦由二○○七年的百分之八點四持續下降至去年的百分之二點六。
