The rape occured at Surfers Paradise, a popular tourist attraction on the Gold Coast of Australia.
A woman was raped in Surfers Paradise on The Gold Coast, according to www.goldcoast.com.au. A police spokeswoman said the 38-year-old was attacked on the beach after she left an Orchid Avenue club with a man last Friday.
The Gold Coast women suffered severe injuries during the rape and was helped by members of the public as she walked towards Cavil Avenue after the attack.
She has since undergone surgery at the Gold Coast Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Police released images of two men they say may be able to assist with the investigation.
The rapist is described as being about 160cm tall with an olive complexion, black hair, dark eyes and of a solid build aged in his mid to late twenties.
