Cremona – Aggression on board a bus of the Cremona-Spinadesco line. Two girls of foreign origin would have slapped an Italian peer because he was eating a sandwich on the bus, insulting her: “Put***a you can’t eat, there’s Ramadan”. When the driver intervened to defend the young woman, the two would have pushed him and scratched him in the face, breaking his glasses and sending him to the emergency room.
The events, reported by the newspaper La Provincia di Cremona, took place on Tuesday, March 4 and were told by the same driver, 52 years old, once out of the hospital with a prognosis of five days. The man said that some ladies were raised to sound the alarm: “Hair driver, they are beating each other, they stop!”. At that point he stopped, opened all the doors and ordered him to get off the bus. “I saw that at that moment they were slap to the Italian girl. I immediately called the carabinieri who arrived immediately, within a couple of minutes.
The girls were dropped off, but when one of them jumped off the bus, the driver said.spintone alla pancia The other one then started pushing me too, broke my glasses, scratched my face.” The driver said he will file a complaint with the carabinieri, attaching the medical report.
The news sparked strong reactions. The attack was harshly criticized by the Muslim community. “Muslims living in Italy must respect the laws of the country and behave like responsible citizens. If we want to be respected, we must first of all respect the others and the context in which we live", commented Aftab Ahmed, member of the Council of Immigrants and president of the Immigrant Citizens Association of Non-profit organization Cremona.
