Shanna Duck :

I say this because we had a predator on our farm recently. It took about 5 goats and 5 sheep before it simply stopped killing. (We had a professional trapper come, and snares set up, etc. etc.) At least 2 of the sheep completely disappeared. I mean these were GONE except for a little wool. This same predator may also have been responsible for the disappearance of another goat. The other animals were killed and some remains were found. We have coyotes (4 packs), but we also have a large bobcat. We’re seen him many times on the trail-cams. We think that he was the culprit for at least some of the kills.

During the time of this intense predation, our 9 dogs would NOT go outside to “make the rounds” at night; this includes our pit/red-heeler mix. Our two main “outside” dogs would literally hide under the feed barn at night and could not be lured out. They were terrified. Our donkeys and cattle would stay close to the house after dusk.

This mysterious predator possibly could have been a cougar, but we expect that it was the bobcat. Whatever it was, the dogs and animals had a healthy fear of it. Again, we routinely have coyotes and wild hogs. Whatever this was - and I do think it was a cat- put the fear into our dogs.

hungry milfy cougar looking for hard meat stick?
hanor, these predators lay in wait, couched and hidden amongst the pussy willows, whilst sowing the seeds of opportunity for a pre-emptive strike on the flame of their luscious forest and weeding out the parasitic fungi and toadstools in order to lure the potent males species of the cocktus spermatoza to mount and fertilise their venus flytrap. how's that for a boliao botany lesson? :whistling:
