Question of Lift Upgrading

I stayed in PP for 30+ years, on the lift floor

WHY is everybody excited about lift upgrading on every floors,,, but then again why Potong PAsir people still vote for CST despite the government uses that as a carrot or threat,,,,

1stly,,,, lifts stopped at 1,5,9,13,17, 21 and 24 storeys
2nd storey no need lifts, 5,9,13,24 no need upgrading
those 1 floor below or above the lift floors, they probably will put up climbing up/down unless they have problems, rather than many many months of knocking and clearing,,, so left those sandwiched at 3,7,11,15,19 floors will have problems,,, so lift upgrading will play not very importance in actual fact,,,

additional store-room or toilet,,, ya,,,,,,, maybe

thats probably why PAP still cannot con PP to vote for them for lift upgrading,,,,

Actually, here is the inside story. CST applied for lifts to stop on every floor. But he was denied. He went with lift upgrading and upon near completion, the powers that be say, if you want to do every floor can leh. BTW, the lifts completed, initially, were very good. But suddenly malfunctions started a few month later and continues. Wonder, wonder.
