The Public Service Division (PSD) has announced several changes among permanent secretaries.
From Nov 1, Mr Benny Lim will relinquish his position as permanent secretary (Home Affairs) and take on the positions of permanent secretary (National Development) and permanent secretary (National Security and Intelligence Coordination). He will continue as permanent secretary (Prime Minister's Office).
Succeeding him at the Home Affairs Ministry is Mr Tan Tee How, who is currently permanent secretary (National Development).
The PSD also announced that Mr Peter Ong will relinquish the post of permanent secretary (National Security and Intelligence Coordination). He will remain as head of Civil Service, permanent secretary (Special Duties) in the Prime Minister's Office and permanent secretary (Finance).
