Rahab the prostitute helped two Israelites when they came to spy out the land of Jericho.She hid them on her roof when the king came for them. When the coast was clear, Rahab let the spies down by a rope through the window.

Truly a woman of her time.She found ways to revinted her image throughout her life. She changed from a prostitute to sibyl to mystic to celibate nun. She is a feminist icon to the matriarch of divinity’s secret dynasty.
Each of these women are used to show how a person can change.
Their past is remembered, but it's also as symbol for sexual desire when domesticated.
