Property price is cooling

yippee, that's what my agent told me and she said there are fewer and fewer buyers in the market as compare to a month ago. Told me to stand by for a further correction and by mid of next year, prices will drop to an attractive level where I could pick up some good bargains for investment.

looks like there's quite a bit of people waiting for the market to cool then enter for investment purposes.

With more supply of HDB and many condo T.O.P in coming months and years, prices are going to cool quite a bit. Really pity those that got con to buy during the last few months at the high.

One factor is property agents using S'poreans famed "kiasuism to play buyers against each other.

It's common to see agents asking potential buyers to bring their cheque books along and pay for the deposit on the spot-just after viewing the property for the first time.Ridiculous how some are so gullible as to decide on their biggest ever investment in just one viewing and in a matter of hours.

Another trick is for the Agents to tell potential buyers (for resale houses) that there is already an offer and you have to better it by today or the property will be sold..

We all can do our share by not jumping in blindly and by taking some time to think over before committing ourselves.

Never give the agent an offer on the spot as they will simply use your offer to frighten other buyers in raising the bid.
