How can this be? You mean the foreigners are so well behaved? Not even a blip in the # of crimes over the last few years!!!

According to a source, there was a fight broke out among some PRC girls. Shouting was very loud and out in the open. Someone called the police. Police went. No arrest were made but it was clear that the PRC girls suffered cuts and there was blood. Police just took down the particulars and give warning!

And that's not all, after police left for not long, fights broke out again!!! Police was called and they came again just to take down the particulars. One of the girls seem to be suffering from a pretty bad cut.

So, does the police classify this as a crime?

Depends on the mix. At least among the PRs and EP holders, the foreigners are likely to be more educated than the average Singaporean and all things being equal, less likely to resort to blue collar crimes than the average Singaporean. I am not saying they are better behaved than Singaporeans, within their educational strata they may be more crime prone but compared to the population as a whole likely less crime prone.

Same for S-Pass and entry level white collar workers on work permits.

Has there been an increase in uneducated work permit holders?

Yes, it was a public member who made the phone call, cause they fought all the way from upstairs to downstairs and come outside, shouting here and there, fighting (they stay in those 2 storey shop house where the 2nd floor was rented to dont know how many PRCs type...)... I think easily got 20 PRCs living upstairs!
