What a year 2017.
You have a retired ex SAF General who sunk NOL being seconded to head SPH as CEO just by being politically connected.
You have the Smart Nation Skills Training Program corruption, being fleeced under the very noses of NTUC of $40m by some ordinary youngsters.
You have the high profile Keppel Corp subsidiaries corruption case, being fined by 3 jurisdictions of more than half S$b.
Not taking into account of the Lee family spat and SMRT woes.
Can't help thinking any other skeletons in the cupboard under tight wraps to spring out into open, or are there cracks in the political organisation, all these happening witin only few years of LKY's death.
Casting doubts on PAP's ( under LHL's leadership) ability to bring forward our country in the harsh harsh world to next level.
Spend so much time suing social, political and even family opponents on petty and vindictive excuses. Time better spent on proper Governance and financial management of the purse strings of both Nation and our GLCs.
Make the pioneer Generation long for the good old days of LKY's era where real meritocrasy ruled, and incompetence got heads chopped to make way for other competent ones, mollycoddling incompetent management idiots in return for complete political loyalty would unravel what LKY fought and worked so hard for our country to come to this world prestigious stage.
