STOMPer Steffie witnessed an encounter on the train, where a pregnant woman asked someone to give up the last seat on the train even though it was not a priority seat.
In an email to STOMP today (June 12), the STOMPer wrote:
“We really have a serious case of Priority seat problem in the MRT!
“I encountered a pregnant woman who board the train and knock on the glass panel to request for the person sitting to give up the seat.
“The worse thing is the last seat is not a priority seat at all!
“The poor lady sitting on the last seat was not feeling well.
“Nowadays, people have the mindset that the last seat is always a priority seat! Terrible!”
