When Singaporeans fall sick in China and get seen at the A&E departments of PRC hospitals, they are often hospitalized for a number of days and given the most expensive medicines even for minor ailments like cough and cold, ending up with a hefty medical bill.
However, when PRC nationals are seen in A&E departments of Singapore hospitals, they receive the SAME treatment and subsidies as Singaporeans, much to the pleasant surprise of PRC national Chen Xiao Yan (³ÂÏþÑà).
