来自中国沈阳的范世红（39岁，女侍应生）投诉，她在上个月26日上午，在余东旋街乘搭970号巴士，要到人力部办手续时，因对路线不熟，匆忙登上巴士后，打算请巴士车长到站后通知她下车。
范世红上了巴士，发现车长是30来岁的印族男子，由于语言不通，她马上出示地址，并找其他乘客帮忙翻译，希望车长到站前能提醒她下车。
范世红声称，车长没有反应，

到站后没通知她，让她一路坐到珊顿道的终站，要她触卡支付车资。

“车长怎么可以这么不负责任？我跟他理论，没想到他竟用福建粗口骂我，以为我听不懂。”
范世红说，车长越骂越凶，直到她举起手机作状要录影，车长才停下来。
“我很生气，只要等同路线的巴士搭回头，怎知冤家路窄，遇到同一名车长，还在半路被他赶下车。我满腹委屈，最后只好搭德士到人力部。”

SMRT发言人：投诉若属实将严惩车长

SMRT发言人受询时说，公司严厉看待范女士的投诉，并已联络范女士了解更多详情。

发言人说，初步调查显示，范女士在事发当天上午9时33分，在余东旋街珍珠坊大厦外上车，告诉车长目的地时，巴士已过了约4个站。
范女士的易通卡记录显示，她在珊顿道终站下车，10时14分转搭970号巴士，并在10时24分在芳林公园下车。
针对范女士的投诉，发言人表示在进行更进一步调查。如果证实车长无礼或拒绝为搭客指路，公司将毫不犹豫对车长采取纪律处分。

Dear SMRT Spokemen/women

Do you want your Bus Captain to concentrate on the road, especial with the growing of:oIo:FT drivers & :oIo:luxury car divers who think they:oIo: own the road, or entertain :oIo:FT asking road direction. Can't the :oIo:FT read the boards u placed in every bus stop or ask other passengers before :oIo:FT board the bus and count the nos of stops to align.

I think u should give the Bus Captain merit to chase :oIo:FT off the bus, so that he can ensure the safety of other passengers. Or do u think of pleasing 1 :oIo:FT passenger is more important than the safety of 10 or more Singaporean passengers.....

This kind of foreign "talent" thought she was idolised by PAP and thus Singaporeans must treat her like queen or king resulted in her yayaPAP style has irked many people who cannot stand her thick-skin foreign attitude in our soverign land.

Did you guys know that in Hong Kong, it is illegal for passengers to go up and talk to the bus driver when he is driving the bus?

There is a yellow line on the floor draw just about half a metre behind the driver's seat. Passengers are not allowed to cross this line when the bus is moving.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned this..

I have seen a PRC raising his voice to a non-Chinese counter girl in KFC, just because she could not understand Chinese.

If the counter girl is another foreign talent, I will just watch and feel entertained. If the counter girl is Singaporean, I will scream at the PRC and create a scene for all Singaporean to watch how I deal with such foreign "talent" and give him no face to hide.

SMRT/SBS/trans-island like to hire ah-tiongs to be bus drivers these days. the PRC whore couldnt get her answer because the ah-tiong driver is just as confused as she is. he doesnt know how to advise her of alterntive routes, bcos he's trained to drive only that 1 particular route.
