By Elena Chong
A CHINA national who exposed himself to two sisters at a lift lobby in Bukit Batok was jailed for four weeks on Tuesday.
Tang Xiugui, 42, a work permit holder, admitted to pulling down his pants to expose himself to the two girls, aged 10 and 12, at the void deck of a block of flats in Bukit Batok West Avenue 4 on June 13.
The court heard that the girls were about to enter the lift when Tang pressed the button to stop the door from closing. He also put his hand on the lift door to prevent it from closing and committed the offence.
The girls were terrified and informed their father, who came down to look for the culprit.
On spotting Tang, the father said he was going to call the police and Tang fled. He was subsequently arrested.
Tang could have been jailed for up to one year and/or fined.
