新华网兰州８月１１日电（记者宋常青）身为手握执法大权的法官，在审理案件过程中，不但接受双方当事人的吃请、贿赂，还违背事实、法律和审判程序，枉法裁判，致使当事人深感绝望，喝农药后自焚身亡。这样的法官无法逃脱法律的制裁：酒泉市中级人民法院近日以民事枉法裁判罪二审裁定维持一审判决判处该法官有期徒刑１年。

法院审理查明，２００８年５月，金塔县法院行政庭原副庭长崔纪元在审理当地人王某与魏某离婚纠纷一案中，接受双方当事人现金、吃请，严重违反程序，对案件事实不进行认真调查，部分事实没有查清和认定，违背法律，枉法裁判，判决中财产分割明显出现偏差。５月２６日，崔纪元宣读的判决书引起当事人之一魏某的极度不满和绝望。２７日上午，魏某在其家中喝农药后自焚身亡。

事件发生后不久，崔纪元被当地检察机关调查并依法批准逮捕。今年３月４日，玉门市人民检察院对崔纪元依法提起公诉。５月２２日，玉门市人民法院以民事枉法裁判罪判处崔纪元有期徒刑１年。宣判后崔纪元不服，提起上诉，近日酒泉市中级人民法院经审理认为一审判决定性准确，量刑适当，裁定驳回上诉，维持原判。
