As far as I know, SPP has nothing to do with the recent petition against the PAP and I'm very glad Chiam isn't trying desperately to hold on to power. He should bow out graciously. Let pple remember him as one who fought for democracy rather then 1 who refused to let go. George Yeo did a great job to project that image, I believe Chiam can do better.
