Population 4.84million!!!

Today in ST 154th ranking main page news 4.84 million poplulation. I find it very interesting fact that 4.84 is included PR,work permit, student past and employment pass.
757,000 work permit
143,000 employment pass
85,000 foreign student
So total is 985,000(foreigner).
Singgapore PR and Citizen( so called resident) total 3.64 million.
So 3.64 million (resident) + 0.985 million (foreigner)= 4.625 total population only.
So how do the 154th said that total 4.84 million. Where is another 215,000 human gone (4.84million-4.625million)?
As in 154th said total Singgapore PR and Citizen( so called resident) total is 3.64 million.
That included PR and convert Singapore citizen. But never stated actual born in Singapore. I estimate that only 60% of actual citizen are real citizen/born here of the total 3.64million. So 3.64m *60% = 2.184 million only
So we have less than 50% population is really Singaporean.

300,000 ready soldiers??? very likely only 150K, you have to minus out female..

I did not pluck the figure of 300k out of thin air. The gov. had consistently been touting this figure. Still the questions are, out of a million, how many are kids, how many are old and how many are really fit enough to be used as cannon fodder.

Why would someone heartwrenchingly bring up someone to watch him being exploited by the state of Singapore at few hundreds a month when he could be helping the family more in this tough economic outlook !

The state of Singapore just wants every household to spend more that they can earn ! So you be a slave for the country ! Is this is nation service ? Then why should people serve the cause ? Citizens are not stupid !
