Illegal night racing terrorises Sengkang residents

illegal_night_racing_rampant_in_sengkang-thumbnail.jpg

STOMPer Ben is sick and tired of the noise created by rampant illegal night racing at Sengkang East Way. Cars and motorbikes have been gathering at this road for the past few months, yet nothing is done.

A report on Sunday Times, Sengkang rising, spoke about the revving cars roaring down the roads late at night and shattering the peace and quiet of the neighbourhood. Retiree Pang Toon Chee, 58, was one such resident who felt this way. In the article it was said that he felt as if F1 was coming to Singapore.

STOMPer Ben who shares the same sentiments after reading the Sunday Times article tells STOMP:

"Fellow neighbours share the same sentiments on noise created by illegal night racing.

"This video was captured on Oct 17, at 4.47am along Sengkang East Way.

"Look at the number of cars and motorbikes gathered along the bridge.

"There are several more events like this over the past months."

Should throw waterbombs or use catapults.

Cannot blame them mah....... at night cannot see the directional signs to the Loyang racetracks so they thought they arrive at the "correct" tracks coz Sengkang East Way look similar to Loyang :)
