Police tracking down sex video mastermind
KUALA LUMPUR -- The police have opened up an investigation paper on a sex video linked to a senior opposition party leader. Inspector-General of Police Secretariat assistant head (public relations)
ACP Ramli Mohamed Yoosuf said the investigation, still in its initial stage, was centred on tracking down the mastermind behind the sex video.
He said the case was investigated, together with 74 other investigation papers, since the dissolution of Parliament on April 3.
"Most of the reported cases are related to election offences such as provocation, fighting, extortion and tearing down political party posters, including the distribution of the sex video involving a political leader in Terengganu," he told at a press conference in Bukit Aman here today.
Ramli said the police were monitoring 480 activities comprising 136 ceramah (political speeches/talks), 100 meetings of political parties, 13 house-to-house visits, 38 campaigns and 196 activities, as of yesterday, in lieu of the 13th General Election campaign.
