SINGAPORE: An Indonesian man died after falling at the Woodlands bus interchange on Sunday morning.

The 21—year—old was seen climbing over the parapet at the Woodlands MRT station and jumping down to the bus interchange below.

He was suspected to be an illegal immigrant and was trying to escape from the police who were conducting checks in the area.

The man was pronounced dead when paramedics arrived. Police have classified the case as unnatural death and are investigating it.

Exactly well said. If there is one illegal indon, there must be thousands of illegals like Thais, Banglas, Fillipinas etc. I think its the poodles that are accepting bribes, and the ICA sleeping.

Singkeeland got many landing points. If they no want to go to legal entry point with ICA control..... can land in many places.

Once a group of us went to one of the islands off Johor for diving. We went there via Woodlands checkpoint thru JB customs. Everything was properly documented. From Mersing onto the boat to the island and divespots. Three days later when we were suppose to return to Singkieland, the road back from Mersing to JB was flooded and traffic was no go. Rather than be stuck there, we hired a boat to bring us from Mersing to Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. The boatman damn cock.... dunno where is TMFT and dropped us off at Bedok Jetty

We were surprised we could return to Singkieland so easily and there was no one to stop us. So I am not surprised at the number of illegals in our country.
